Cardinals Rock Reds

In their game against the Cincinnati Reds yesterday, the Cardinals jumped out of the game fast.  With three homers in the first by Matt Holliday, David Freese, and Yadier Molina, the Cards bolted to a 4-0 lead in the first.  Red’s pitcher Homer Bailey settled down after that, but the Reds couldn’t come back from the 4 run deficit they acquired in the first inning.  Jake Westbrook proved why trading for him was a good move last season, pitching phenomenally.  The final score was 7-1, moving the Cards to 3-1 on the season.

Another game against the Reds tonight!
