This past week marked the return of St. Louis Cardinals ace Adam Wainwright to the mound. He pitched for the first time in over a year on Friday against the Minnesota Twins. Wainwright pitched two scoreless innings for the Cardinals in what end up being a 3-2 victory. This was Wainwright’s first pitching appearance since his last on September 24, 2010. He struck out two and walked only one in the two innings, showing signs of his previous dominance. Hopefully all the Cardinals pitchers can remain healthy this season as they get ready to defend their reign as MLB champions.
