Well, it finally happened. The St. Louis Rams have traded their #2 overall draft pick to the Washington Redskins. Essentially this gives the Redskins the right to draft Robert Griffin III. I think the Rams made away like bandits in the trade however. The Rams dropped from the second pick to the sixth pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, which still gives them tons of options. Also, they received the Redskins second round pick in the 2012 draft and their 2013 and 2014 first round picks. This means the Rams essentially traded one pick for four picks in the first two rounds. This could provide the Rams with a new young stock of players to support the quarterback of the future, Sam Bradford.
