The Blues dropped a hard one to the defending champs, Boston Bruins, Wednesday night 4-2. After giving up two early goals, Tim Thomas made 27 straight saves. The Bruins were just simply too much for the Blues on this night. On a positive note for the Blues, slumping Chris Stewart finally got back on the goal sheet with a goal in the first period. Chris Stewart has been on a frigid cold streak since his stellar season last year. Ryan Reeves scored the other one of the Blues goals, but it simply wasn’t enough. Turnovers were the key for the Blues leading to several of the Bruins goals. Hopefully the Blues can get ready to play this caliber of team in the playoffs or we might be in trouble.
